I checked out your gallery and your renders are really good! They all have that painterly effect that looks a lot nicer than a standard render. Plus, I know nothing about Vue (I tried the free Vue once and THAT killed my computer)

Thanks for your kind words. And don't be to harsh about your own work. You're a very talented artist 
And you definitely have to try Vue (when your computer can handle it). For landscapes and backgrounds it's the perfect software. It has a great render engine and it is (surprisingly) pretty easy to work with.
