Norma, welcome to Deviantart! I didn't know you were into Poser all that much. Yeah, I made Ganymede, and two other products (Jalyn and the Elf Queen set for V2). Unfortunately, the whole debacle at Renderosity made me decide to remove my products from their store. And then I got a really nice letter from a friend who told me to go to PoserPros. Sales ain't the best they've ever been, but they could be worse. Working on a new product, going to upload a picture of her as soon as I'm done looking at all your stuff.
Gack, I'm babbling! And the Dark Elf... can't take credit for him. Donna Bond made the texture and stuff, I just made the character. ^^ You've already got BIG fans here, which is great. Good to see your artwork on another site. (You know, one where it doesn't take two weeks to just update your bio... )
Kiwihobbit, Poser is my guilty pleasure. It's something I love to fiddle around with in my spare time. I have no Poser Pics in this gallery - I'm still more or less at hobby level. That mess at Renderosity was very unfortunate. I read the forums there and followed the entire incident. They've shot themselves in the foot and done themselves a lot of damage. They've also lost a lot of merchants and customers. Donna Bond - I wonder if that's the same Donna Bond I know -does a lot of gorgeous goth and fetish stuff. This place is like a breath of fresh air compared to the "other place." I also have a gallery at Epilogue, but there's always a bit of a wait there for approval.
Yep, same Donna from Elfwood. S'the whole reason I started Poser. She's an amazing woman, has some really nice products at Poser Pros under the name Daio.
What figures do you have? Maybe I can make you test a product for me. ^^ (In short, maybe I can give ya free goodies.) And yeah, Rosity shot itself in the foot, bigtime. They still are, with the whole exclusivity thing. I can't understand why people continue to broker exclusively. I mean, I'm getting 60% from Poserpros. Exact same price I was getting when I agreed to exclusivity from Rendertrocity.

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
