So I was reading your DeviantID description earlier....I saw "thylacines" and was like, "What are thylacines?

Oh. My. Word. They are so cool! However, their jaws freaking me out LOL

thylacines 1 thylacines 2 Roar

Fossas are also really awesome :D  They look like a kitty/ferret~  So cute >u<

Ikr!? >:'D I loves them, they have big heads and big jaws and short legs and those STRIPES~ Their jaws are pretty freaky which is probably why I like them. XD Plus, they're one of the few species that are extinct that we actually have footage of! It's sort of a mystifying experience to watch the video and to know that it doesn't exist anymore but you can see how it moved.

I think so too! :D Kitty-ferret is very accurate now that you mention it. Those two are both interesting because of their anatomy; they're different from commonly known animals!

Those stripes really are one of a kind!  Only other animal that I can think of that has stripes that pop out as much as theirs is a tiger.  I went to Youtube and watched a video of them.  They sure are some beautiful animals!  I wonder, with the technology we have today, if we can actually recreate a thylacine with DNA, if we have any.  That would be totally awesome.  I find the similarity between a kangaroo's and thylacine's back legs rather amusing.  xD

Heheh xD Oh yes.  I looked up animals similar to fossas and found Genets.  Quite a bit of awesome info I say! And the ones that they list on Wikipedia are so cute >u<  I think they all look somewhat like kitty/ferrets xDD  *trying to find a good list of old world animals*
