gee, that's an excellent question... when i look for a model I'm not looking for magazine looks, I'm looking for someone I genuinely like as well as find compelling to look at. If I didn't like someone as a person, i wouldn't want them to model for me nor would I really want to paint them...
my models so far have been my sisters and my good friends. As for paintings, I've chosen close DA friends, and artist/people i respect and admire.
