hey kids. i've been taking (and printing) a lot of pictures lately, but i can't post them because i don't have a scanner. but with luck i'm getting a digital camera for christmas... any reccomendations?
the camera i have now is a nikon nikkormat, 35 mm, SLR... i'd like to have a digital camera about as close to that as possible that doesn't cost $98734230924389? so far i'm looking at the canon A70 and nikon coolpix.
i don't know what i'm supposed to say here... is it a blog? a place to talk about art? a Deep Commentary on Society?
anyway, i'll just ramble about my day for a while. i actually woke up on time, lay around petting smokey and listening to thursday for a while, and then went to school ON TIME. and my fzx teacher wasn't even there. >.<
but dave was extra cute today and we tickled each other a lot and they were playing crazy funk music on the skool radio station that made me want to dance. then they started playing bad pop. and good charlotte (eh, they count..). and we left.
in psych this guy came in to talk about hypnosis, which i think is really interesting. then he put us all into a 'light trance,' which was basically just him talking and us closing our eyes and relaxing and going to a 'safe and peaceful place'. it really worked though; i could feel my head drooping down onto my desk and tension slipping away. afterwards i felt like i'd just had sex or something. hypnosis is so cool.
on the way home (i walked, which makes two days of exercise in a row; go me) i decided where i'm going to do my 'character of place' shoot: charter road. there were so many good shots but i didn't have my camera, so i just stopped and made a rectangle out of my fingers and gazed at the sun through the trees until it was time to move on. that whole street is very newenglandesque. it's pretty.
congratulations to laura for getting her license today!

Hi, thx a lot for all your comments. It really helps me .
I've read that you are looking to buy a digital camera. I've just buy one, the Canon A80, and i think that's without any doubt a great choice.
