Its not too hard once you figure it all out.. Its a good way to get better too, because you can see and be inspired by other peoples' stuff.

I'm not subscribed, no.
You "add friends" by "watching" someone; the "watch deviant" option is at the top right of someones dA page. All it does is notifies you when they put something new up.
You add that information by going to your main page, and clicking on "Edit Profile" on the top right, once you've done that there'll be tabs on the top, just click the "User Page Display" one and you'll be in business.
The only other thing you need to know is take lots of pictures. The only thing you need to know about that is don't follow any "rules", just take pictures you like to look at. You'll figure it all out realllly fast if you do that.

Yeah, I had trouble with that too.. I think I resized it in Photoshop and just saved the image at the lowest quality I could.. I'm not certain, though.. Sorry...

box it will say "featured deviation"
and in that box, choose
which pic you want on your profile.
