Hi Martyn!
Thanks for the great comment on The Moon. Yes, a scope does make for great possibilities. I use a mated Nikon Fieldscope 80mm with a Nikon Coolpix 7900 (sold as a "digiscoping kit"). I'm still thinking about doing a "full 3x" zoom on the moon, should be about 1/4 of the moon or so, future project (maybe on a WARM evening!).
Have a great DAy!!! Rob the Swash

I agree, i think it is time to welcome you to our little communitee... I tell u what, if u're anythign like me, you'll get right into this in no time... once u get cracking with some shots.

You've started off really well with your shots, much better than what i did... and i find i'm getting better over time (Although complacent at times)

Keep going, coz your doing well...

BTW, if u do want more page views i suggest you checkout the "Deviation Thumbshare" forum:

This is where people can go to, normally, exchange comments. U can either reply to somebody who offers free comments or just set up your own post saying "FREE COMMENTS" or something.... Either way most people on DeviantArt return the favour and comment on some of your work.

To this day i havn't had a real negative comment and have had positive feedback from positive people... People are great and encouraging here, so once again... WELCOME!

What would you do for a king
if He took of His crown and agreed to die?
And as you tried to understand it,
He looked you in the eye and said;
"This is for you..."
Well... What would you do?

Thanks for all the encouragement gilboium :)

It looks like I have a lot of settling in to do, DeviantART is rather overwhelming at first! :0

Just been on holidays, so I may have some new shots to put up when I get them off my digital camera.

Cheers,
Marty.

Hi Martyn!
Welcome to DA!!! I hope you like it, I'm really happy with this site.
Thanks for the wonderful comments on Gadwall On Golden Pond and On Golden Pond (and the fav for the the Gadwall version). The golden water is a reflection from the dead grasses (yellow) on the shoreline, but it makes for a great photo. I'm very pleased with the reception this series has gotten. You're welcome to visit my gallery anytime!!!

"The golden water is a reflection from the dead grasses"

Ahh, now I understand :) I really was intrigued as to how it happened.

Thanks for your fantastic comments! Really appreciated.

You've got some nice nature shots. I think that deserves a watch.

We would like to state that the Wheel stands beyond any criticism. If any man should attempt to criticize the Wheel, he should throughly patronized for his obvious Jewish behavior.
