Heh... ummm noticed you've got a D50. my bad. Which means you're doing an even BETTER job with your photography (cause the D300 makes things so damn easy! ;P)

Woo hoo, my first post..

Thank you!
Your welcome.

I own both D50 and D300.

D50 is sitting on the shelf as a back-up body now.

I'm still learning where things are in D300. So, it's really really exciting. X)
Just got a new lens and Flash for the D300. And the flash can be used wireless too! Now THAT is fun experimenting with. Don't think we'll ever work out all the possibilities, but will have one hell of a good time trying to find out, won't we

Cool!
It's always fun to play with new gadgets! So, do you also still own a Canon 40D as well?
What do you think of Canon 40D compared to D300?
I played with a studio flash on the other day for a few photos. It's pretty amazing :)

erm.... This is the third attempt at replying to this message. Devart is being funny...

Anyway, definitely prefer the D300. I only got the Canon cause I really needed a camera at the time and the D300 wasn't out yet, so I rented the Canon.
The D300 definitely has more functionality and I know it varies from user to user, but all my favourite settings are more accessible on the D300. Love Nikon

An the next thing I want to invest in is some good studio equipment. Especially lighting. Makes such a HUGE difference

Hey Julie, nice to see you and Matt on here!

All the best of luck exploring your D300, I'm sure you're having as much fun with yours as I am with mine!

Take care.
