You know, I've never heard it before, and I've never thought of it until now. I guess it just seems natural. It also goes along with my belief that perfection doesn't exist. I'm glad you like the statement!

I respect modesty as well, but I also believe that too much modesty can be troublesome. Of course it would be ridiculous to flaunt your talents and such, but at the same time I don't think you should deny them. That also is about finding a balance, I think.

I know this has been said before by a lot of people, but common sense truly is not common. The irony of it is really depressing. People should make a better effort to educate themselves. I learned a lot simply by reading literature. Reading and seeking experience are two essential things, I believe.
