So, your art is obnoxiously good. All of it. I'm at a loss as to how you could be remotely insecure about it. Seriously, the portrait stuff I've seen around class isn't half as good as some of the stuff in here. My favorite is "Fireflower". I'm pretty sure you've perfected modesty into an art form.
Hi everyone...I need some help. I'm applying to get into a master's program in digital photography. I have to submit a portfolio as part of the admission process. I know I haven't had a lot of professional training, but I really want to submit my best work, partly because I can't afford to take a lot of extra undergrad classes.
If you have experience with Photography Master's programs, or if you just have some constructive criticism, I'd love to hear your opinion. Are there any particular images in my gallery that you would recommend I submit, or should I throw them all out and start over? Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!

You can't always control what happens to you, but you can always decide what you will make of it.
We want to know what love means to you!
Get your creative juices flowing and design a movie poster for "Paper Heart" that focuses on the theme "What Does Love Mean to Me?".
The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
