Why does my voice go high pitch when I talk cause sometimes when I'm talking my voice changes to a high pitch voice for no reason? It started a couple of months ago. It use. To  do it. So why is it doing it now?

Also got another question why am I getting the hiccups everyday sometimes more than once a day?

Change in pitch of voice... I am not sure. Does anyone else notice it?

Hiccups are due to irritation of the diaphragm (which is a layer of muscle separating your chest from your belly). When it is irritated it goes into a spasm, which forces air out of the chest. This produces a hiccup. Some of the reasons why people have irritated diaphragms... 1. changes in food intake (more/less/different kinds/different times, etc), 2. heartburn and reflux, 3. Nervousness and air-swallowing, 4. we don't know. It's actually more common that we don't know. But these things don't usually last and they will go away.

Yes people notice the voice change.

Oh ok is it bad to have the hiccups alot like I do?

In that case, we need to look into the cause of it. The pitch of someone's voice is dependent on the vocal cords and the larynx. People with laryngeal injuries or nodules usually end up with a hoarse voice, for example. I can't think of any specific reason why your voice will increase in pitch. It's something to ask your doctor about. You might need more investigations.

And no... it's not bad to have hiccups, even if you have a lot of them. Most hiccups are benign.

Oh ok. I will talk to my therapist about the high voice and see what she thinks too.

Oh ok good.

Right. And don't just tell the therapist, tell the doctor as well. Just a second opinion doesn't hurt.

Ok I will but I looked it up and it says your voice can go into high pitch if your really really happy.so I think that is what is happening

If that's all there is to it, that's a good thing.
And hopefully that's it! It's nice to know that you're really happy.
