Thank you so much for taking the time to comment! I'm glad that so many others enjoy the elephant pieces- I worked very hard on them, and I challenged myself to use a lot of color. I found just recently, though, that the elephants in real life who paint pictures are being abused to do so, so now I advise everyone not to buy the elephant paintings. >.< I wish I had known that when I made the paintings!
The use of colour really was a great touch; quite different from the usually rather 'depressing' animal abuse awareness paintings. Sure makes them pop! Whoops, a bit unhandy to learn about that only afterwards, though maybe it's also really fitting in a sense? Because it would make the elephants in your painting abused elephants as well, who now spread the truth about their situation
