I absolutely love the D300. It's image quality is stunning, low light capability is out of this world. Performance is just as amazing, 12 megapixels, 7 frames per second for up to 100 shots. On the wolf hunter running series I hit about 40 shots non-stop and it did keep up, auto-focus held on all shots. If it has a shortcoming, it is the lack of in-body vibration reduction. I think Nikon saw the opp to sell lots of new lenses by putting the VR in the lenses, not the body. Smart marketing, questionable design. I'd still rate it 9.8 of 10.

Friends of deviantart. I have a suggestion. We all need to support each other more. Instead of just making little digital galleries and folders full of files, we should buy the prints! Frame them. Put them on our walls. It will up-lift our daily moods and show people who we really are. Just a thought.
