~Where the world ceases to be the source of what we find fulfilling, and at the point where what we would like to be and what others think we have become melt away, and we are left standing, stripped of everything that is not truely there. That is the point at which our music defines us.~ Welcome to my gallery
I'm really liking what that Wacom pad can do. I would really love to see more of Listen type drawings. That stuff is incredible...holds much potential. Keep it up...I'll be looking forward to it. Listen...just an incredible piece of work.

Thanks for the feedback on my pendulum set. I like your work here, especially the Twins from the matrix. U def have skills.
As for lighting in 3d programs, read into inverse distance lighting. It uses algorithms to mimick how real lights work with their intensity in relation to distance from the source. If u can master using it (which isn't hard), the realism of your renderings will increase dramatically.
are those universal terms or just a lightwave thing? I'm using 3ds max almost exclusively. the only thing I've heard of that sounds like what you're talking about here is radiosity/global illumination which calculates the amount of light that bounces off of objects to light up everything rather than having superblack shadows and such.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
