This winter I hope to check out art books. After that I shall grant your wish. I have done a rough sketch of Shay but it really is quite horrible. I hope to improve and than draw. I have a wonderful set of images in my head and don't want to fuck them up with half assed figure drawing. I say no more.

That's exactly what I've been doing as well.
Check out Figure Drawing Without a Model by Ton Tiner. It's awesome for human anatomy, but not for heads/faces. An good artbook for that is Heads and Heads/2 by Andrew Loomis.

Okay just don't expect too much as I do pretty much suck. But I hope to improve because these pictures in my head are amazing and I've always wanted to draw a set like them.
Give me some ideas then. Haha. Because at the moment all I'm doing is anatomy sketches and whatnot.
