I ended up envious of the people I met who wake up every morning too this [link]
As a rather disappointing alternative I tried to capture as much of the landscape as I could, rushing past in my rental car.
And now I share them with whoever may be interested.
All of these pictures were taken in the west of the South Island of New Zealand. Milford Sound and the surrounding mountains being the most spectacular. Let me say that these pictures dont do justice at all. Perhaps you should come and see for yourself
