My work? Funny you should ask ...

I will soon post a couple of items. I am just getting in art. I took my first class last fall semester. These items that I have done are not really deviant so I have some concerns on how they will be accepted, at least here. In art class, some of the older students appreciated a piece or two. I am just getting into some Bauhaus stuff which is an older style of art by people like Albers and Itten. I am also a minimalist; I believe less is more. Kinda like your shot I commented on.

they really don't have ot be deviant. The real purpose of this place is to get the art out there and to check out new things, to broaden the horizons, so to speak. There is no definition of art, and calling a place "deviantart" cannot deny the fact that to define art would be to limit it. Post your work, people will accept it, some because they have to and others because they want to.

thanks by the way for your comment, it was appreciated. I'm hoping that since you know what you are doing compared to most people who come to dA, that I can get some constructive criticism on my work and ssome pointers, and maybe give you some as well, because I'm taking an at home photography course, and will be taking it up as a profession this fall for the next three or four years of my life... It will be good to have a critic. I hope to be hearing from you in the future.

I do like this site because people are definitely not afraid to put their work out there. There is quite a mix and I am positively broadening my horizons. That is one reason why I am digging through all the content.

You will hear from me. I will let you know when I have posted some stuff (most likely by Monday or Tuesday). I will be glad to hear your impressions of my efforts and I will also be glad to share my impressions of your work.
