So, here I am new to DA and I don't really nkow what to do at this point. I've still yet to prepare a lot of work that I want to submit with Photoshop, but for now, it's just using my comment abilities (he he) and fooling around with my settings. I hope other deviants appreciate my work, until then.
woo-hoo! a nintendo and bjork fan! if i see a dapride avatar on your page, you'll be on my favorite-people list. and if not, i won't hold it against you. ha ha!
The unauthorized use of others' artwork, be it images, words, or music, is a breach of site policy and, in many cases, copyright law. Such violations are punishable by suspension of your account and the elimination of your gallery. We take copyright issues very seriously here at deviantART, and have formed our policies to best promote originality in the work submitted and to foster the growth of deviants as artists.
Having said that, there are a few exceptions that allow you to use other people's work as a part of your own:
Direct reuse of another artist's work is permissible only when you can provide written proof that you have been given explicit permission to reuse that piece in the manner you intend to. Explicit permission is a statement made directly to you granting you permission to use the work. An open statement in an anime artbook, for example, that gives anyone who purchase it the permission to use its contents in fanart is implicit permission, and does not satisfy deviantART's copyright and plagarism policy.
An example of valid explicit permission would be asking an artist via email if you may make a wallpaper featuring some of the artwork he or she has presented in brick & mortar art galleries, and that he or she has displayed on his or her website. If he or she replies granting you permission, copies of the emails should be included in a zip file with the final wallpaper that you submit to deviantART.
Reuse of copyrighted materials outside of these listed exceptions is prohibited at deviantART, and failure to adhere to these rules will result in administrative action. This may include removing your artwork from deviantART, banning your account, and purging your gallery of submissions.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
