Hello, I'm an aspiring children's book illustrator. Nuff said. I'd like to know more about the business end of what you do... In terms of creative process i know that will grow and develop as i practice but what can i do now that will make finding a publisher easier? I know in some career fields when you submit a story concept or a work you have to have a lawyer to ensure that your material is copyrighted and etc... I know theres more to illustrating then just the art aspect and i was hoping you could give me some advice or worthwhile anecdotes or just hazards to look out for. If this makes no sense then sorry, I'm bad at being concise or with dealing with people in general, I'll just say "awesome gallery!" and move on. I do enjoy your work and since your 38 theres obvious experience at hand here, i just want to tap into it. Thanks.
