I'm more like self-taught metal artist and not very traditional blacksmith etc. I don't also know other than few Finnish colleagues so it's usually quite difficult to talk from this trade in english, but there is some international online communities and associations for blacksmiths and knife makers, where you can maybe find some help.

It's probably very  inspiring to talk with many other metal workers from all over the world and those places are full of all kind of useful tips.
