Always MY pleasure M ! . . . . sometimes I delete my photos as fast as I post them :( ---is that a :icongoatplz: trait :?

I think it is a :icongoatplz: trait... almost every time I post a new image, my instinct is to remove it and 'make it better'... but I usually leave it as is , otherwise I'd have an empty gallery... :D  Occasionally I'll see a posted image of yours, which subsequently vanishes... leaving me somewhat bereft...

I wish I had your steadiness in holding true to your posts :crying: ~ I need an adjustment or something ...sorry about berefting you :(  .  I'll try to turn over a new leaf .
....did you ever read The Horses Mouth by Joyce Cary ?

Haven't read The Horses's Mouth, looked it up, seems interesting… I'll see if I can get it from my library. There's an old movie with Alec Guinness in the lead role en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hors…. This morning I finished reading The Flying Man by Roopa Farooki www.amazon.com/Flying-Man-Roop… which has some similarities with The Horses's Mouth… a con man who sacrifices family and relationships in order to pursue his own vision of what counts in life, only to end up alone and dying of a stroke.

I just started reading Spanish Fly by Will Ferguson www.chapters.indigo.ca/books/s… alread read 419 by him www.chapters.indigo.ca/books/4… and enjoyed it.

Umm… I was just going to write a short response :faint: that'll teach you to ask me a question about a book… :bucktooth:

Oh my ! . . . . and with me reading a book a decade :( . . . .maybe I'll have to up the pace :B

Yes ! It is a 'quite' enjoyable movie !  -  has the spirit of the book.

Both are a little hard to find - the movie is on the Criterion DVD releases - very expensive !

But can be found as a rental in those DVD rental stores that claim  to have every movie made .

I found it quite charming in a low key British humour kind of way . . . I've seen it many times .
The book - I read that about 20 years ago - and it's collecting dust on my shelf - waiting for me to grab it again.

Thanks for the links to your current books -- I shall study what was said about them very carefully ! :)

I will try to be very careful in the future about asking you about 'books' --- but you weren't so bad
about it ....really !
