You and I joined on the same day. I don't know how things work here, but I'm fairly certain it won't be long until they start flaunting you and your work throughout the site.
thanks for the fave and the the very nice comment; i like your art alot and am definitely looking forward to more. and mr bungle - that's some crazy shit
I try to make things that i appriciate,
and its good that you all like it too.
The only problem is that im not satisfied with these pics.
Its actually not a problem because it induces me to make better things. all the time.
I mean... I try to make better things all the time. Things that i find more and more appropiate to my expectations from myself.
Well... I guess everybody tryes to fill his/her own requiements.
I dont think im getting anywhere with this sequence of ideas, but it was good to write them down. I think...
that is very interesting because i feel alot of the same with my work - i'm not happy with any of them; in fact, especially with older work, i Hate it to the point where i would like to destroy it (and sometimes do, btw)...it's something that sometimes strikes me as odd, as in how one day i could look at a piece and be like wow that's cool, and then just a couple weeks later look at the same piece and only see how horrible it is and how i could have done better now. i have a bad tendency when working on pieces to never "finish", as i, for some reason or another, am perpetually dissatisfied. this happens especially alot with paintings...i'll start painting something one day...come back another and be completely mortified by what i was painting - and then start painting over it something completely different. i suppose it is good in a way, this never satisfaction with one's self, because as you said, it drives one to always improve. also - it's very depressing for me to go to art shows or even browse deviantart, since i see alot of stuff that is very impressive and yet very discouraging because i feel as if i'll never be capable of reaching this person's techinical skill or that person's style...

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
