I like what I see in your gallery. I'm totally without clue when it comes to 3D (probably other things too, but that's not important). Do you have any suggestions for where to start to get my head wrapped around rendering? Blender or Pov-Ray especially?
Well I use wings 3d --> [link] for modeling and vue4 --> [link] for scene set up and rendering. It really depends on what you are trying to do and what look you are going for. I tried to get into blender and I could not stand it. That's just me though.. others swear by it! It's good to try alot of programs out soo you can see which ones you'll like to actually use. When it comes to renderers though.. it's usually brazil or pov-ray. I never used anything for rendering except for Bryce and now Vue.
