I need some horses to put in the background of my next event comic, and I decided to ask my dA horsey friends if they wanted theirs back there, and I don't know if you have any but you comment me and stuff way more than any of the rest so I hate to leave you out. :/

I don't have any Deviant Art horses, but I do have a horse version of my OC, Galaxy. She is pictured in the upper left corner of this amazing commission ( baby-blue-bell.deviantart.com/… ) and is essentially a little gray Araby type mutt mare with dark points. I don't use her much, but she has a special place in my heart and it'd be super amazing if you stuck her in one of your backgrounds. xD She has a shooting star shaped marking crossing her forehead and exploding around one eye... that might be too unrealistic for your comic, but if you drew her from the other side, it would just look like a little streak of white behind her eye. 
She doesn't have tack designed for her so if the background ponies are actually doing dressage instead of just grazing in a field or tied to a post or something, she probably won't help you. lol

They will all have traditional dressage tack on them, for the effect of the comic, but they're all just tied to stalls/horse trailers/standing about, I need one to be trotting passed Constellation, etc, stuff like that.
I knew you didn't have a dA stable, but I wondered if maybe you had a HI2 horse you liked or something, random OC, anything.
I can adapt that to look like a realistic horse marking, is that okay? Or do you want it to look like it's been drawn on in an exact star shape, like Native Americans did? And you want this drawn as Arabian body shape?

She could totally wear black dressage tack. *ponders* Her color spectrum of choice would be white, silver, light blue if you needed another color for highlights or something.

I'd rather you didn't adapt it into a real horse marking; the shooting star is kind of her thing. xD She isn't really of this world, and a shooting star marking makes sense in her context. It isn't painted on, it's just a marking she was born with. She's actually from a line of mages (she originated in a long role play / story I wrote with a friend of mine) and it was taken as an omen for her house.
I did a REALLY rough sketch (just grabbed some random lineart off the internet, lol) to approximately show you what the other side looks like: img.photobucket.com/albums/v70… It's just the shooting star tail, and would probably be mostly covered by her brow band, so you could draw her from that side and avoid having a random weird looking mare other-worldly mare in your comic.
She's not actually a known breed.
(Aren't I helpful?) An Arabian is just the closest I could approximate, since she's small and has a wide, dished face. But she wouldn't have the high Arab tail carriage or the throat latch. She's really more of a large, typey pony.

Yushes. I think she'll be the only fantasy breed that really LOOKS like a fantasy horse, and she'll be used to reflect that this is a dA event, not a REAL HORSE SHOW, and there's a lot of fictional fantasy breeds on dA so I wanted Constellation to meet at least one of those bizarre off-the-moon things. xD
Yay! I think she'd enjoy a visit to a Horse Show. I imagine she'd probably want to do really well at it, but also fit in with the "real" horses as much as she could.
