And let's not forget that Single's Awareness Day lies ahead during this gray time of year.
Maybe I can find a decent distraction again. I occupied myself last Single Awareness Day by MS Painting that fanart piece of Lilly and Garth and indulging myself on shipfics of the two.
Is it ironic that I distracted myself from a day devoted to couples by focusing on the fan materials of a fictional couple I like?

It's ironic, but not unheard of. If I ever tried something like that, it would depress me even more and make me feel jealous.
Then again, it also tied into me actually making fan materials of the two. In addition to the MS Paint piece, that was also around the time I started getting the Lilly/Garth fanfic back into gear. I suppose you could call it a form of distraction by indulging in your work. Even if it ironically deals with couples and all that.
Maybe I can do that with Mario Bryan and Jessica Harley, the two heroes from my current project "Watch You Burn". They're not anywhere near being a romantic couple yet, but anybody can see it coming from miles away.
It could work as a form of venting, perhaps. Living through your characters, perhaps. Mine was just working with a couple I already like and found cute fanfics about.
Here's to both of us surviving Valentine's Day in 2015.
And hopefully not have heart crap happen. I will remember April Fool's Day 2011 because it was the day I was experiencing what I thought were the symptoms of a heart attack. Then it turned out to be "chest wall pains". Such timing.
