Wow. What an unimaginabley gorgey gallery..... *_* Just... It's a total and absolute wow jaw-dropping collection of work... I love it all.. and such tribute to classic myths and to the actual marine environment...2 things I hold dreadfully close to my heart! I cannot wait to see more!

Your mermaids have nice designs and colors, but I noticed a little problem. It's just that they have weird poses. I mean, their tails make it seem like you see them from a lower viewpoint, or from under them (like 'Catfish Mermaid'); also they look like they're standing on their hands more than resting on their tails (see 'Clown Trigger Mermaid' or 'Polka-Dotted Grunt mermaid'). Now, it's easy to criticize, so I'll try to throw in a bit of help as well... You may want to work more on logical stance, think a bit of the weight of their tails while they're on land (I figure those tails would be heavy to lift in all those nice-looking poses ), and how they would really be sitting. It would also help a lot if you try to define your 'decor' a bit, maybe work more on elements like the rocks they sit on, and the landscapes. I hope I don't sound harsh or anything like that, I'm just thinking that with more work, then you'll come up with very good stuff. There's potential.

hahahaha, i didn't even think of the weight of thier tails, my mermaids are always underwater (you cant tell coz i'm too lazy for backgrounds) so i always just thought they would be kinda floating....i dunno, but i'll definately take your advice next time! thanks!
