you can watch anime's on the DS? guess i need to buy the DS browser. aha.

I use the R4DS with a 2GB MicroSD. I get the episodes in FLV format, transcode them to MPG, then transcode them to DPG. The DPG is what the DS plays in what is called the Moonshell, a media player of sorts. Each episode is around 60MB. 60MB * 50 episodes = 3GB, more then my MicroSD can hold.

So far I have episodes 1 through 14 on my DS. I hope to get to 25, then after watching them all, I'll load up 26 to 50. Right now I'm transcoding episodes 16 and 17. Each episode takes about half an hour to transcode, so this takes time.

I also got the FMA movie, but I will treat that as the cherry on top, as I haven't seen it yet. Once I have transcoded and watched every episode, I will do so with the movie.

whoa! i have the r4 too! aha! my brother is nerd like that so he has a ton of ripped games. for some reason, our music and video stuff doesn't work. we tried to upload music but it wouldn't play. does it have to be in a different format?

Video must be in the DPG format. But I believe you can play music in any common format. I have a collection of MP3s on my R4, they play fine. Perhaps this will help: [link]
