erm... well for some reason i cant find the button to send you a note. but my questions are preti simple...
i was told that they thin out your hair..is that true?
Are they hard to take care of?
Are they as heavy as every body keeps telling me?
Whats better, one loop or the double loop?
Yes, any extensions will break your hair causing it to thin a little... but you can keep that down to a minimum by parting your hair really well.
They are really easy to take care of, I wash mine about every 3 days. Just make sure you ring them out really well, try to get as much of the water out as possible or they will start to smell musty.
They can be pretty heavy if you put too many in.... I'm lucky I have thin hair so I part it a bit thicker and never have a problem with the weight. I suggest putting a few rows in (I usually start in the back at the neck and work my way up) and see how it feels. I know my first couple of days they seemed heavy but then I got used to them.
Personally, I find the double ended dreads to be MUCH easier to work with. I use the Elysee Star dreads which seem to get negative feedback but I have found the ones with the thread winding around work just great and last a very long time. I get them from Afrocare.com, and here is a link to their instructions on installing the dreads: [link]
Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help!
thank you, i already have a place im going to mainly because everyone i know says to go there and because its in the city im in so when i get them done.not only will the girl make them but she will put them in for $40 too.
Im sure eventually ill have more questions, thank you soooooo much for your help
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
The Cutting Edge is a weekly article that features brand new selected high quality art products that caught our eyes. Check out the cutting edge prints some of your fellow artists have submitted in the past week!
