I've got a South African accent, which is slightly similar to Australian but at the same time nothing like it! 
But my accent has a slight Afrikaans twinge to it, so my words do actually sounds strange sometimes! lol The following link is an example of a South African accent. He's actually one of the DJ's on a radio station I listen to all the time, and he loves pranking people! 
In this example he's making fun of the way Afrikaans people talk sometimes! It's rather funny, but maybe only for me cuz I understand it!
