a dragon feared by the humans living at the base of a mountain awakens every 100 years to feast on the town. not this time, counless dragon slayers were summoned to take down this vile beast but all was not to be, Branded... wait... thats not it... 'my real name does not matter'
Branded looked on from a far off hill at the brave men fighting. it was a single blade that was said to be able to vanquish the beast. one of their best managed to stab it into the dragons heart but it would not die. it flew around wildly for ages swooping close to the ground to hit the people of the village, but not Branded. he was only 13... he reached up to the spooping dragon and grabbed the blade with his legt arm and managed to force the final blow upon the beast... bu the final blow was always frought with danger as his arm was not his own. the villagers tried to ignore it but couldnt help but grow fearful of it 'be gone, boy!' the villagers cried... even his mother, ever scince Branded could not find a place to be at peace of someone to help him from his curse... but out of one last burst of compasion form his mother was given the sword that slayed the monster... and so branded travels... which is all he can do

Cale was a 50 year old vampire, who was living in England at the time after a long journy from italy. In order to save the poor boy's life, Cale was given no choice but to turn Shadow into a vampire. Shadow was cale's first vampire. When the vampire blood mixed with werewolf, it left Shadow almost impossible to transform into his full werewolf form. It left him with Wolf ears atop his head, long with a tail [like a neko]. Cale and Shadow formed a wonderful bond with each other and are still living in London to this very day. but they are known to travel together a lot.
