1. No, I wouldn't have you on my watch list if it was.

2. Yes, I've had that feeling before. It always bugs me to see people who obviously have a lot of talent but always use the Same. Generic. Anime. Style. I could probably look at a random piece of art from anyone in my watch list and be able to tell who did it, but these generic anime people are totally indistinguishable.

1. No. Absolutely not. Don't be silly.

2. Yes, unfortunately. (Mostly about myself, minus the potential part, but hey, I'm just an amateur.) I understand what you're saying. As a result, my "watching" list is always undergoing evolution.
1. I'd say not. You're always trying to pull something new off or try something different.

2. I have seen it happen before yes. The thing I can more commonly relate to is watching someone for a certain aspect of their art and then they deviate in another direction that is totally blah and boring and it's like wtf why am i watching u?

Uhhh...well, I hope I'm not on that list of people. And if I start to go that way, you have full permission to slap me back into my place.

I've looked at my gallery a number of times and realized I had several paintings in a row with almost the same pose :(

But then the way the economy is now I also don't feel like working my butt off for paintings that might not sell for much.

I agree, there are several artists Ive unwatched because its the same thing over, and over, and over.

Obviously not you because, um, Im here and in general its not people that do traditional art. I wonder why that is!

And even if the pose is slightly similar, if the background, outfit, theme, color scheme are all different it doesnt even necessarily register on me.

Yeah.... I've stopped watching people for that reason, as well as when they haven't posted anything in a very long time. I generally watch people that I can learn something from or that I know personally through fandoms or other art groups.

1. Never! Each piece you create brings forth something new and fresh from your mind. I really like looking through your gallery and seeing all the variations that you create. ^^

2. Yeah, I don't watch a lot of people because I don't see anything that blows me away whether it's talent, composition, etc. For me, I watch people that when I look at their art I think, 'Wow! I wish I could be that good!' You're one of the few who made that list. ^^
