Yeah, I think the publisher is supposed to send out a PFO if they don't like it. I'm just being impatient! It's only been a few months, and their slushpile is probably the size of mt everest...
I don't think there's a specific vista patch for poser. Vista basically doesn't seem to play nice with anything that isn't microsoft... I hope the service pack that's coming sometime this month will help. It's just frustrating because it's very random when it works and not! Sometimes I'll load lots of stuff into a scene and all is well, sometimes it crashes as soon as I put a figure in. Poser also stops working if I put Daz studio on the computer for some reason.
I'm on a laptop and the graphics card is NVidia GeForce (8400 apparently according to the thing) I had another laptop before with an ATI on it and that was even worse, it took forever just to select a part of a poser figure.
Sorry to hear about your own computer troubles! I fear the day my external hard drive croaks, that will be the end of the poserin'!
Do the publisher have a policy of responding to all submissions regardless of whether they want it or not? It might be worth chasing them up to see how far it's got.
I've heard bad things about Vista and most of the 3D programmes I use - one of the reasons I haven't converted yet.... I was wondering if there's there a Poser patch / update for Vista, and went looking, but just found lots of threads saying 'mine works in Vista / mine doesn't work in Vista'.
What graphics card are you using, out of interest?

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA.
