GIRLFRIENNNNND let me tell you, it is really hard to judge a contest when friends are in it! 
I was really really happy that you and JD and Tore participated especially and you guys ALL put a lot of work into your pieces and I wish I had enough money to send you all prizes 
I saw a lot of new techniques from both you and JD and seeing that Tore tried something new completely was like "WHOA."
If I have another contest it's going to be not for a while because broke JB is broke

Oh I know you said you weren't going to right away 
That was a lot of work!
But you know what? I know I would often [schedule permitting] do it even if there weren't prizes. I think the whole "CLAY ART BI-WEEKLY CHALLENGE" would work. I guess if I am just suggesting something like that I may as well put it in my journal and not yours - less work for you!

Wow! I looked through your participant feature journals, and I can see why it was so difficult to sort through and choose winners! Everyone did so brilliantly!
