lol yeah, and the women who go in there and say they don't want to sit in the waiting room with all the "sluts." I don't get why they think nobody else has ever been in their same situation and that everybody but them is a slut..
Yeah, I don't know why they think they are exempt to follow their own morals :S

It's like do they not even realize that they couldn't get an abortion if they succeeded and it became illegal? Or do they think once it's illegal they'll open special abortion clinics just for them or something?
I also like the bit where it assumes that any person who is pro-choice is some heartless baby killer or never wants kids. I am quite the opposite, actually, because I do want to have a child some day c:

I like what you're saying here. I think this is the first actually good pro-choice argument I've ever run into. Personally, I think there needs to be a damn good reason for why one would get an abortion, and you pretty much covered that. Mother's health at high risk, rape. Rape just isn't fair. Otherwise, if the woman doesn't want to be pregnant, there are a number of things she can do to prevent fertilization. If she decides to have unprotected sex without the intention of pregnancy, but then becomes pregnant, it's her own fault. Nothing against sex, though. Sex is good for the soul.
Because women of faith can never be a slut, haven't you heard?

Oh wow, yea, I agree with you on all of that. I'm glad someone came out and said it, I think people don't because they're scared of being criticized heavily for it.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
