The abbreviation of the Lucy and Aslan scene, the all-out cutting of the girls and Aslan freeing/waking Narnia at the end, and the horribly Hollywood Susan-Caspian romance were what bugged me the most.
Gah!
I will gladly volunteer to go hunt down producers/writers/directors/etc who were responsible, especially if such things continue in the [hopefully] VotDT movie, if there is even an inkling of a Lucy-Caspian romance, heads deserve to roll. *kicks away soapbox.

gotta say though, the slightest notion of anything between lucy and caspian is pretty much impossible since he meets (at least in the book) his wife the daughter of the star (sry, forget her name and her father's name at this moment) so that's pretty much out the window
but yeah, that was dumb
my take on the whole narnia series is that while it's not allegorical, it comes off that way because it's an exposition on the nature of God, in essence it's saying "what would God do if he was in this situation?"
but here's the thing, it's kinda hard to do that when you remove the character who's representing God in the story.
*sighs* anyways, the whole thing's got me frustrated 'cus the story's got so much more potential and they really didn't take advantage of it, blargh
i guess that's all i've got to rant about concerning narnia for now

Ha, your pageviews were at 3,444 while I read this journal post.
Sad to hear that Prince Caspian was disappointing. Its seems to be difficult to be faithful to a book when putting it in movie form but its disappointing when they leave out key moments from the book.
Woohoo! Free sketch! Uhm... could I request a drawing of me? I'm not always consistant with how I represent myself in drawings... but I use this character a lot.
Bleh, they just hollywooded it up, including a romance nonexistent in the book. *sigh* Ah well, I'll just hope for a better job on the next one.
And, oh, that sounds like fun. ^_^ Is there something specific or a style you'd like to be wearing, or can I have fun with that? And do you want a sketch, or lineart?

Ah.. oh well, at least the books dont change. I hope they do VoyageOTDT well, though... that was one of my favourite books. ^^
Um... not really any preferences in the clothing. You could add the beanie or leave it off, just as long as you don't draw the character in a dress or skirt. Just have fun doing it. ^^
Oh, and I don't mind either a sketch or lineart; whichever gives you the most freedom or you feel like doing at the time. I'm really not that picky about this; I'll be pleased with whatever you come up with, actually. ^^ Thank you!
