Try downloading the new updated driver available on the Wacom site. I dunno why but when my tablet was acting whonky, I installed the updated driver and the tablet worked perfectly afterwards.

Thanks! I downloaded that driver, and it seemed to be back to normal for a while afterwards. It still acts up now and then though... but I guess I'll deal.

this may sound dumb, but...is your computer mouse interfering somehow?

computer mice are instigators. 's the truth!

sometimes when my tablet pen gets too close to my mouse, it freaks out and jumps a little.

anyways, hope you figure out what it is soon!

It's not dumb... I thought it might be the case a while back, so I moved the mouse farther away. However, the problem persisted. Installing the updated drivers from the Wacom site seemed to help, though the tablet still jitters every once in a great while. Still, it's much better than it was.
