They ad mystery, occultism and magic to a world that seem to be severed from all supernatural.
They are a reflection on everthing that "normal people" seem to deny, but that is a vital part of what is human nature.
And they fascinate me beyond belief.
Let's just say, that I have been a fan of vampires ever since I heard of them, at the age of 4-6 years old.

acctualy, I don't really have a love or obsession for vampires. My interest in them now is the same as it was before I awakened, which is for entertainment purposes only. my real obsessions is with witches and dragons...*shrugs*

I had thought I answered this.. But I don't mind adding my again! *Am such a comment whore..* But anywho..it is not just Vampires that soully interest me or completely enthrall me at times It is the mystery, the beyond reasoning that there can be and are other things out there that boggle the otherwise "human" mind... I'm a nerd.. Vampires have a special place in my fascination because well..the entire facts or "myths" surrounding them are just very mysterious, traditional, 'ancient' if you will. The dark seductive albeit magical if not whimsically dark essence that surrounds all that is vampire just has me quite enthralled...beyond words.

It couldn't be that I have an odd relationship of my own with energy...no..couldn't be...

It's really kind of hard to answer. I've always been attracted to vampires, even as a child. I think it's maybe that dark part of your soul that has the ability to live for eternity or be able to do things that you wouldn't dream of doing in normal society. I would like to think my interest in vampires (going back to when I was a child, my favorite story was Dracula) is the part of my soul or being that is of a dark nature that has allowed me to express myself artistically in a dark nature. If that even makes any sense?

To be able to draw from the imagination, to draw what you can't see with you eyes, is to be a true artist!

I was 5 when I saw Dracula (1931)with Bela Lugosi. I know it started from there and planted that little seed of interest. I grew up with the classics, Lon Chaney Jr., Bela, Karloff. So it started with the movies, but then it progressed to the myth, where did all the ideas for these movies come from? Curiosity for knowledge, and the disdain for people who dismiss anything not quantifable or that fits into their little box of what life should be like fueled my initial dive into researching vampires and vampirizm. This will end up a long story if I keep typing. Then hormones kicked me into the teenage years. And I understood more. The power, the sex, to be able to centuries pass, undeniably awesome.

Better to have creative chaos than tidy idleness.

The powers that they have and how each 1 differ. How you never know what's going to REALLY happen around them. The thrill of being with them and the choaticness of not knowing is the most awesome feeling I've ever had. Just knowing that if they wished you dead it would be so and yet you don't die because of them.....I don't know if I'm making sense to myself anymore. I'm kind of dillusional. Someone tell me if they understand what I'm trying to say.
