I don't understand your statement; are you criticising about the website called ConceptArt(dot)org? I can understand if there are some people there who like to rip off ideas from other people, but it's a place that
recommends for starters like mysrelf to post and get critique.--

Conceptart.org is alright and at rare times an ace place if you are looking for good critiques, but for finished works and such, it can be an extraordinarily trendy place where you will be ignored.

There are a lot of artists I like in the industry... I just hate the industry. And, I hate how they often times force people to be creative, which can often times force people to be uncreative.
I just think that a lot of people have some very unrealistic ideas about what it means to work in and for it.
And thus, I can scratch off another rant on my list:

Lol, so, the fact that a film might turn out to be an utter piece of CGI tripe is to blame on the concept artists?

No no no... not really... I'm not hollaring at the concept artists... but instead, the ebil industry, and how a lot of artists are forced to do stupid or uninspired shit for it. I can actually count on my two hands an amount of people I know who think they can just walk in there with a head full of ideas and expect people to want to make them into a videogame or movie or whatever... when in reality that's just not gonna happen. They don't want creativity, that wouldn't be good for business... they want a skill.
Really, you should ignore these rants from me... maybe.
