Cute! I have a Kenmore but I put it through its paces, dragging it to sewing meets and things. I don't think you'll be putting the stress on yours that I do on mine.

I'm not intending to make costumes with it or taking it out of the house. I have some cross stitch projects I'd like to make with it and I am in dire need of new drapes. And cross stitch is my passion, not sewing... I don't know if you know this, but I believe my final grade in sewing was a D. ^_^;;;;;; Maybe because I didn't finish the project- yeah that's probably why!
You've done some really impressive cross stitch - I wouldn't have the patience for it! What kind of projects need a sewing machine? Pillows and things?
Thank you! I love cross stitch. In 9th grade Skills for Life I had to do a sampler (I think I lost it grrr) and in December I decided to pick it back up again. I LOVE IT. I spend at least 3 hours a day on it if I have the time/energy. I have some pre-made sachets that I bought, but I have beautiful patterns for bigger sachets and a book with lots of patterns. Pillows, poppers and bookmarks to name a few. When you start a cross stitch project, you need to tape the edges with masking tape so that the aida doesn't fray. It would be awesome to hem the edges therefore eliminating the sticky masking tape. ^_^
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant.
