Although you show a great aptitude for saying a lot without actually saying anything at all.
We are still none the wiser as to the reasoning behind his dismissal from the upper echelons of dA management/administration. None of what you have said in this journal entry has shown any reason that warrants dismissal, if anything it has put it out there in the open that °jark was and still is invaluable to the community.
At least you have shown respect in this journal entry for what he was trying to achieve with this site, and how much time and effort he's put in, but if you're saying that a 'quiet' dismissal was respectful, you're so damn wrong, it's laughable.
It was not only confusing to Jark, but as you saw with the reaction from the community at large, it was your greatest mistake to date. People were outraged at the lack of communication between Jark and dA regarding the dismissal he allegedly didn't even know about for sure until he logged into his account and saw that $ had become °. This was highly *dis*respectful.
What should have happened was a meeting, where the future was discussed, your reasons for his dismissal clearly outlined, and the whole thing occuring reasonably amicably and without avarice, subterfuge and confusion.
Then and only then, should a press release have been made, telling them community, how and why, and allowing Jark to have a say in that release, reassuring people that it was the right thing to do.
This would have negated the outcry, and the celebration of dA's anniversary wouldn't have been tainted with yellow blood. There would have been tributes sure, but nothing as wide scale and heated as the current situation has been.
I hope for your sake that you never handle such a situation so badly again, otherwise faith will be lost, and you might find yourself out in the gutter, when the community revolts and leaves the site for pastures new.
People are not objects, they are not just variables in a database, they have to be treated with respect, a quality you appear to lack. I don't know you except by your actions. But here, actions speak louder than words.
Silence is Golden. I do respect you for doing that but I also understand how hard it can be to say the right thing in such a way, all can understand.
Mistakes were made but it hopefull will get better as time passes, as I have seen before on this site. I support the site & the people behind it, now & before, for what it is.
We all know that things are hard around here. I am disappointed in the behavior of some of my fellow deviants. The name calling and whatnot. That could have been done without. People acting in ways I would normally see someone banned for.
But, it's time to move forard. Scott created this place we all love so much, but we must not forget that others worked just as hard on dA as well. I hope we can all come together and celebrate what Scott has done, and show support for dA as well.
You know how I feel about this situation, Angelo. Chin up. This journal is a nice thing to see, I hope others will view it in the same light.

My photos are not for beating your dick to. Thanks for the cooperation.
Thankyou for that Angelo.
Although Im ure many will still have something bad to say about it. ( as they do)
I really do hope this will calm some people down.
Good luck with everything

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
