I often browse the favorites of the artists I watch and respect. I can find lots of cool stuff this way. It also helps to understand the person better, what art forms and styles he or she likes and so on.

When I talk to people about deviant, and if they haven't visited it before, I recommend avoiding the front page. Because, to put it mildly, people may not understand some of the stuff there. Though personally I am cool with everything I can see here on DA. And I really like this atmosphere of tolerance and understanding in this community. But people must spend some time here before they develop that kind of mentality.

It would be nice maybe to put daily deviations section at the top of the front page. And display more DDs by default. So that new people could see some cool stuff at once.
