Yeah, it sucks, because I personally feel they fit in with the "homebrewed" 'Mechs in the Technical Readouts, much more so than the current reseen jokes that look like half-assed attempts to blend the "Real Mech" genre with the "Anime Mech" genre.
I've seen a few things that actually worked in. Key word there, though is "few."
