I dont believe that there is a God. But if you feel like believing that is right for you then, just go ahead and do so. Just please dont ever try to act on behalf of him.

As I saw on another stamp, I support not shoving religion down peoples' throats. Therefore I shall respect your opinion since you obviously respect ours. :D

I appreciate that.

Whatever happened to respecting others' beliefs? Telling or even asking someone not to act on behalf of God sounds rather biased. I, for one, will act on behalf of God! I can think of no better motivator and guidepost for my actions.

But seriously, you believe what you want to believe and do what you want to do. But please don't presume to tell or ask others not to do something as it pertains to God.

Did you notice the please in that last sentance? And the lack of exclamation points? It was not an order but a plead. For just like you dont want anyone to try and force thier views upon you, neiter does anyone else. It does not matter what people believe. If it helps them understand the world they live in, and makes things feel like they make sense, then no matter what it is that person will stick by those beliefs.

I am not disrespecting anyones beliefs, I am telling others to respect everyone elses beliefs, even if they dont believe the same as one self.

Good day sir.

It's not about what makes one feel better, it's about what is for those who do believe. But I don't expect you to understand that. So, good day to you sir.

And what IS, is diferrent depending on whom you ask. Ask a muslim and he will say the word of Muhammed IS, for it is the word of God. Ask a christian and he will say that the bible IS for it is the written words of God. Ask any theist and they will tell you what IS. But what IS will be different things. However they will all believe this to be what IS.

And are you telling me that you, knowing that there is a god, whichever one you may follow... Does not feel right? Does it not make you feel good? Knowing that you know what is right, and why the world is? Understanding it based upon your views, and the answers to lifes questions, offered to you by your religion? For if it does not feel right. You can never be certain it is.

And do not belittle me, claiming I do not understand, simply because I dont share your views. That I do not know what it is to believe in something, simply because we disagree on certain issues. You do not know who I am, and should not assume that I know less than you, and that what I know is wrong, for I believe it as strongly as you do. And just as you KNOW yourself to be right... so do I. Despite us believing (or knowing, if you will) differently. I can easily put myself in your shoes. So you should try putting yourself in mine.

Do unto others as you would have them do to you.

You would not like it if someone thought lesser of you for believing what you do.
