Ancient Greeks! I love the Aegean seascape-colors going on--such a beautiful blue. And the character interaction!

And who'd give up a chance to draw a peplos/whatever-you-want-to-call-it. I only know the basics of Greek fashion, unfortunately (Herodotus and Plato really don't talk about much more than peploi and himatia--I have some hope for Homer next semester, but that's mostly endless descriptions of armor), but I might do a project on ancient fashion.

Greek is such a fabulous, elegant language. I'll spare you further rambling, but Greece is one of my favorites. : )

Thank you- I'm so glad you like it! I'm not the biggest expert on ancient Greek fashions- I know more about ancient Rome. Roman clothes were more layered and fussier, it seems to me. Plus they had the fixation on the woman never taking off her breastband/strophium, which you certainly never saw in Greece! :XD:

Are you thinking of drawing any ancient Greeks yourself? I'd love to see them, if you are.
