Don't give up! Everything must be learned, my first attempts were horrible too. Just give it a break and then try again.
Download some flamepacks and try to alter them. Thats much easier than creating your own, and it's a great practice

hehe, will do, once i get back my own pc, right now i'm sitting on Dad's, since mine is being repaired 
And i still have to learn how to use my Bamboo better, but that's just to play around in photoshop
