my german husband has been adopted by an american family that likes to travel - and likes to bring us along on a big family trip every 2-10 years, always in september/october, as that is when their wedding anniversary is. that's why we got to go on a baltic trip to many northern countries in 1994, to italy in 2004, and france in 2007.
