I was like that til one day someone found my (at the time) fav piece ripped off. That and I want to start selling my artwork on a more regular basis....so gotta guard what I have now.
It's rather an interesting experience to go through....your stuff is kick a$$ I wonder why no one's found it yet and tried lol but it's a good thing not to have to worry about that anyhoo...I would have preferred that it had never happened...

i was once accused of ripping a pic and i got furious. i was bout to quit DA too but i shut up everyone by showing them the layered original with a few layers stripped off. but i've never had anyone rip me yet as far as i know. but yea i don't have a good solution to watermarking. i guess the way you're doing it is just fine

Anyhoo the pic that got ripped was one I did for PE so it wasn't only me they ripped but elf-shojo as well cause they were her charas. They conveniently snipped off the ends with all the copyright info and stuck it up in their Photobucket account...they did that to tons of people....
so now...must watermark in middle of pic....and make it hard to get rid of...but looks so ugly...thinking of using a stylized copyright logo thing instead....
