Comment on The End of Chris Thorndyke by Kaminyu
I honestly don't know what to say here, other then amazing work with the art.
I'm mixed here when it comes to Chris. On one hand, he and I share names (As my name is Chris, too). But on the other, it's sorta weird that Sega only included him in the Sonic X cartoon. In my opinion, Sonic X is a whole other universe besides the Sonic we all know from the games. It's still Sonic, but still a different Sonic from the game version. What's funny is, they NEVER (in my assuming) made mention of Elise from Sonic 06 in Sonic Generations, and yet.... Crisis City and Silver both make an appearance in the game. I guess Sonic Generations just randomly picked past stages from the other Sonic games and chose one each from each game, but still. Sonic 06 WAS Silver's debut, so why leave out Elise and even Mephiles too? I don't really care why they did what they did with Generations, but maybe perhaps they simply did not have the intention of including Elise and Mephiles. IDK.
But to be perfectly honest, Chris was a ok character. And I understand fully if people like you don't care for him too much. Everyone has their own tastes when it comes to characters, so I won't sit here and argue over it with them. I accept the fact that not all of us are gonna like certain characters. That's totally fine with me. I ain't one to be a jackass about it and all that. I'm a lot more respectable then that.
