oh wow, i'm really glad you think so highly of my fic. I am a bit of a slashy fan of theirs but I was trying to be respectful to Darqx who said they were not a couple or inclined to be one so I thought I'd try and keep it within those parameters. XD
I think their relationship as purely platonic works better cos then they're not afraid of beating each other up or being generally heavy handed with each other, and lets face it watching those to beat each other up is half the fun.
I didn't think of that at all but I don't mind it, we can pretend he's being oddly philisophical about .D's dependancy on cigarettes and how he's probably not long for the world if .D catches him.
