well you have more forgiveness when it comes to messing up, because you have more time to fix it.
actually, we get "holy slips" for messing up. never forgiveness.

"holy slips", or as the teachers call em, "demerit slips" are a way of punishing a student. when you get one, you lose a number of your 100 merits and get a set of punishments depending on how much you lose. as days pass by, you gain merits back, but only with good conduct.
